The event included an introduction to the AWRC and CSER and a tour of the labs, including delegates hearing about the iTaekwondo, smart floor and tennis tracker facilities as well as the 3D imaging systems. Delegates also heard about the plans for the AWRC and CSER to open at the Olympic Legacy Park in Sheffield in Spring 2019.

Feedback from the event included “great to see the enthusiasm about leading technology in sports performance in Sheffield” and “a fabulous project that deserves to succeed, and certainly will if passion of the staff for the project is anything to go by!”.
