The Building Information Modelling (BIM) ‘New Ways of Working’ dinner at the Sheffield Novotel on Wednesday 8th November was a great success! With presentations from Autodesk and Whittam Cox Architects, around 50 delegates gathered to hear about what future practice and education in the architecture, engineering and construction sector has to hold.
As part of the Sheffield Innovation Programme, Sheffield Hallam University’s Department of Natural and Built Environment, hosted the dinner to discuss how cloud enabled design collaboration can improve the BIM process and explore new trends that may affect working over the next decade. Engaging presentations sparked numerous conversations throughout the room and collaboration projects have already begun since the dinner. Look out for the short video coming soon to show highlights from the evening.
